Attorney at Law
Dr. Roseline Afiong Rowan is the visionary founder of the Efik Women's Association USA, whose passion for justice, community, and the empowerment of Efik women inspired the creation of this organization. An accomplished attorney based in Lansing, Michigan, she has specialized in immigration, domestic relations, and criminal defense since 1992, building a distinguished practice grounded in integrity and excellence.
A former lecturer at the University of Maiduguri and professor at Michigan State University's School of Criminal Justice, Dr. Rowan has combined academic insight with legal expertise to empower communities, mentor young women, and provide pro bono legal support to members of the Efik diaspora. Her founding vision continues to guide every aspect of EWA's philanthropic and advocacy work.

Prof. Rose-Margaret Ekeng-Itua, Ph.D. is an award-winning Professor of Engineering and global leader in technology education, AI ethics, and workforce development. With over two decades of experience across the United States, Europe, and Africa, she has pioneered programs in smart manufacturing, clean technology, and Industry 4.0 while partnering with leading organizations such as Tesla, NASA, and Google.
The first Black woman in the world to earn a Ph.D. in Cybernetics, she is widely recognized for championing opportunities for women, youth, and underserved communities in STEM. Through her leadership, research, and mentorship, she continues to inspire the next generation of innovators and expand pathways for African and diaspora communities in science and technology.

Ada George is an advocate for health equity, youth empowerment, and community service. A graduate of Boston University, she has built a distinguished career in clinical research and drug development, working with leading pharmaceutical organizations including Merck, Pfizer, Astellas, and Novartis. As a Founding Partner at Eagle Clinical Research LLC, Ada is committed to advancing equitable healthcare and promoting diversity in medical research.

Dr. Rosy Rowan is an accomplished attorney based in Lansing, Michigan, specializing in immigration, domestic relations, and criminal defense.
